Well I think I need to learn a bit more about how to use this blog. I thought I entered some feedback the other day, but now I can not find it.
My intended post went something like this:
After reviewing your design again, I do not think there is a reason to go away from using tie wraps for the camera mount - it is also to be used for the motors, and tie wraps are so well-designed the police use them as make-shift handcuffs for riot control if they need to make mass arrests. At worst you may want to put a few side-by-side to add strength and stability.
Separately - I would recommend making a hollow mock up of your camera and wrapping that in the plastic to perform a leak test without risking the camera.
Hopefully this post works - I'll keep cecking to see.
